New to the megaformer?
At BalanceTread you can come to any of our classes as a first timer, no need to book a private class. Our certified trainers will walk you through the equipment and make sure you are taken care of before and during class. We recommend private sessions for those with special medical conditions, please reach out to us if you have any questions about where you should begin.
What should I bring to class?
We require all clients to wear socks with grips on the bottom for their safety. If you don’t have grip socks, you can purchase them at the studio.
We provide towels and have a filtered water dispenser for you to fill up your water bottle in.
We require clients to wear running shoes during the treadmill portion of the Shred and Tread Class, and socks with grips on the bottom for the megaformer portion.
What should I wear to class?
Wear clothes that breath and you feel you can move in.
We are located in a shopping plaza with plenty of parking. Please arrive 10min prior to the start of class if it is your first time. This will give you time to get a tour of the equipment and meet the trainer.
If the class you are interested in is full, add yourself to the waitlist. If someone drops out, you move up a space. If you do get into the class you are waitlisted for, you will receive an email from MindBody letting you know you got in. Please be aware if you are added to the waitlist, the cancellation policy applies.
Due to the size of the studio, we do not have showers.
Sometimes life happens and you need to cancel out of a class. To avoid a late fee, our first class of the day must be cancelled (12) hours prior to the start of class, all our other classes must cancel prior to the (6) hours of your scheduled class time.
If you cancel outside of the window of your scheduled class time, you will be assessed a $10 late fee.
If you do not cancel your class and do not show up, you will forfeit your class and be assessed a $20 NO SHOW fee.
When you are enrolled in a class, you are holding a place someone else could have taken. If you do have to late cancel, please consider doing so as soon as you know your schedule changes so our fellow classmates can come off the waitlist to enjoy the class.
All class cancellations can be done online on your MindBody account.
What if i’m running late to class?
If this is your first class, you must arrive 10min prior. This way you have time to get a tour of the equipment, and meet the trainer. If you are arriving late and have attended class before, for your own safety and as a courtesy to the other clients taking the class, we require you don’t enter the class if you are more than 10 minutes late.
